The beginning of our Doodles
Our Dogs

Taffy:  Golden Retriever (65 lbs.)  Deceased

Great great grandmother to Wally, Great Grand-mother to Pippen & Stella, Grand-mother to Ginger, Mother to Skaggit

Enjoyed any and all attention from everyone.  Not a mean bone in her body.  Loved to fetch sticks, swim and generally be included in all her humans' lives.  Everyone loved Taffy and Taffy loved everyone.  The best pet anyone could ask for!
Skaggit: Goldendoodle (85 lbs.)  Deceased

Daughter to Taffy, Mother to Ginger, Grand Mother to Pippen and Stella, Great grndmother to Wally

Skaggit.... there are no words to describe Skaggit.  How do you describe the perfect dog with too much personality to mention?  She barked only to tell us something, she walked beside you on walks, constantly looking up to make sure you approved of her behavior, she loved all other dogs and was an absolute delight to have around.

Her funny quirks: She scratched her back by laying upside down on the carpet and kicking her feet to make it across the entire room;  if you crossed your legs and put your feet up, she put her chin between your feet for a face rub; if you told her to go outside and she didn't want to, she would get up with a groan.

Ginger:  Goldendoodle (50 lbs.)  Retired
Grandmother to Wally, Mother of Pippen and Stella, Daughter of Skaggit, Grand-daughter to Taffy,
Currently retired

Ginger has a wavy, retriever like coat that grows slower than the curlier coats.

Ginger is a very cool dog, too much personality to mention.  She is not a barker, but she is a talker.... She will look you in the eye and wait patiently for you to tell her what to do.  She obeys and then seeks approval with her quiet little "Arrrrrr".  She will walk quietly beside you but is also very athletic when given the opportunity.  She could outrun the fastest dogs. She's also content to "hang out" and loves any attention she gets. She's a favorite with our kids and lets them do anything to her!
Pippen (23 lb. Mini Goldendoodle)  Retired
Mother to Wally, Daughter to Ginger, Sister to Stella, Grand-daughter to Skaggit,  Great Grand-daughter to Taffy,

Pippen has a tight curly, poodle like coat that is very hypo-allergenic.

Pippen has all of the typical goldendoodle traits plus a very neat personality that is all her own. She "boxes" with her front feet when she plays and flops right into you when she snuggles.  She also enjoys a good back scratch on the carpet across the entire room like her grandma Skaggit used to do.  She has the need to please gene and is always looking for approval  She is very athletic and smart.
Stella (34 lb.  Goldendoodle)  Retired
Sister to Pippen,  Daughter to Ginger,  Grand-daughter to Skaggit.  Great Grand-daughter to Taffy

Stella has a very straight coat that grows slower than the curlier coat.

Stella is very loving and inquisitive.  She loves to fetch, racing the others and is so proud when she beats them!  She loves to run (especially on the beach when there is a bird to chase!)  She is always first to come when she is called and often makes us laugh because of her funny ways.  She is a snuggler and is very sneaky about coming onto the couch to "melt into you" when the other dogs have tried and been turned away.  Such a great family dog with a neat personality!

Darwin:  (28 lbs.  Mini Goldendoodle)

Father to Wally

Darwin has a tight curly, poodle like coat with a fox like tail.  He is very hypo-allergenic.

We added Darwin to our family from the Kootenays for his health and amazing laid back temperament.  His whole body "wags" when he is happy (which is basically whenever he is awake).  He loves all dogs and people!  The first time he'd ever been near water, he jumped in and started swimming around without a 2nd thought.  He is happiest when he has something in his mouth.... just carries it around saying "rrrrrrrrrrr"! He is super athletic and has no trouble keeping up to his big "girl friends".  He seems to have springs in his ankles and loves to jump.  One of his favorite toys is a large exercise ball which he tries to climb on only to get high centered and fall off.  He is an amazing addition!

Lilly:   23 lb. Mini Goldendoodle. Retired

Merlyn and Trixie's mom but otherwise unrelated to our other doodles.

Lilly is only 23 lbs. but has all the "big dog" Golden Retriever traits.  She always walks slightly behind me off the leash, follows us in swimming and has no trouble keeping u with the big guts.  She is calm and relaxed but shows her athleticism when allowed to chase birds.  She will do anything to please.  She is so loving, you can do anything to her and she always comes back for more!
