Dear Julie,

I wanted to send you a little update on Heidi as it has been almost seven months since I brought her home.

I still can’t believe how lucky I am to have such a wonderful little dog in my life – she is everything I had hoped for and so much more.  She is happy, healthy, funny, terribly mischievous, very clever and the most loving and devoted companion to me.  My family is completely smitten with her as well.  She is eager to meet and greet everyone, human and dog, and is very intuitive when it comes to avoiding dogs that are not receptive.  She loves her play time at the local park with the “regulars” – her nickname is Tuffy, because she is a little firecracker when tousling with the other dogs.  She and I go on long walks together everyday to the local parks -- she loves to chase the squirrels and explore.

She is no longer a toffee colour but a blonde/apricot and her hair is soft with a loose curl.  She is quite small, long legged and fine-boned; when I had her spayed at seven months in early November she weighed only 14 lbs.   I have attached two photos of her and also a link (at the bottom of this email) to a video Peggy made of Heidi and Andy playing together (they are best buddies – we often wonder, do they know they are related?).

I want to thank you again for such a beautiful puppy; she is absolutely the love of my life!

Wishing you & your family,

A Very Happy New Year!

Oh Julie, we are loving these puppies!

They are sweet and insanely cute!

Unfortunately, Kim's puppy is going home today. Their dog pen should be arriving today, so they will be nicely set up also. (If I could sabotage their doggy pen delivery, I would, and we could then bonus another day with their pup!!)

:)

Luke came to spend the day with his puppy yesterday. He is pretty excited!

The puppies are doing great at using their pee target (same method you use) They use it most of the time, though Sophie did pee on a blanket instead this morning! Over all, I think they are doing exceptionally well. They even stopped rough housing yesterday to go pee! Woohoo!

Sophie is quite small compared to her 'cousin'. (I think they are calling her peeko)

We cleared a loop through the back yard, so they are even getting play time in the snow! Sophie has little socks (how undignified!) but it allows her to spend a bit more time out there. They are hilarious together! They will bounce through the deeper snow also! Great puppy workout!

My only regret is not getting TWO pups... so if there is a little girl that isn't picked up, pls let me know!!

Hi Julie,

Just thought I'd send you a few pictures of Andy as he turns 6 months old.  He is an absolutely adorable little guy and loved by everyone in the neighbourhood.  He is a super friendly and playful pup who loves to run with all the big dogs in the park - I don't think he knows that he is not all that big.  He weighs just under 20 lbs so I don't think he will end up being all that big (not the 35 lbs that we sort of anticipated).  He is going in to get 'fixed' on Thursday (sadly actually).  He is an extremely bright little guy who took about a day to figure out the doggy door and he actually only messed in the house maybe 3 times from the time I brought him home - never have to worry about that at all.  So thank you for breeding such a wonderful little dog.  If you ever breed Lucky with Ginger again, I'm sure there will be some 'takers' around here that would love to have one of the puppies.

Also, here is a link of Andy in his little wading pool in the backyard - he seems to be a water dog for sure!

So thank you for him.  He has been a wonderful gift.  And even Mandy has shown a bit more vigour because of him - not always because she has wanted to mind you.  She is actually a wonderful mentor for him as he is not a yappy little guy at all - very calm and confident just like her.

Hope all is well with you and your family.

Take care

Peg Robinson

Hi Julie!I hope this finds you well! Hard to believe that Gingers puppies are one today!Roxie is doing great! She is so sweet and so smart! She is 23 pounds and the vet thinks she is done growing. She is about as tall as a fox terrier... perfect for our long walks and play time with Kyle. She is great in the house, walks off leash and listens, rings the bells I hung on the door to go out, and is absolutely bananas about bath time and swimming in the lake! She LOVES it! Her hair is starting to really lighten up... going from strawberry to more of a blonde... Well that  is all for now, just wanted to say hello and send you a picture!Take care!Carmen, Troy and Kyle

Hi Julie,

Thank YOU for raising such great parents to these beautiful pups!! It's very comforting to know how much love and care goes into raising our first "child" together, and knowing he comes from a wonderful home. We can both tell how much you're in it for more than just a business, but also because your love for the animals.

We're still trying to "finalize" a name choice, but I have a feeling we will name him Kona (if I get my way hehe), but I will let you know in the next few days once we decide.

Shawna
